Case Studies

The port of Manfredonia on the eastern coast of Italy is the perfect starting point for equipment destined for a large wind farm project in the Apulia region. Unfortunately, all components have to be discharged onto a pier which is too narrow for trucks to turn around on. Therefore, the trucks have to drive backwards once they have picked up their load. Blades and other pieces of equipment are first being brought to a nearby storage area which has been especially prepared for this purpose by ISLA. They are then delivered to the construction site precisely when they are needed there.
